Black/White Never Be So *damn* Monochromic

Let's talk about what we followed almost 5/6 years ago; the allurring effect of acrylic necklace...yes!!!thanks to all glory socialites (i look up you, Ms. Hilton), and KITSON phenomenon, you guys made all girl in my country (even in my college field) became crazy to hunt that blingy goodies. Now, the trend almost over, changed to even discerning, beyond the grave absurdiance (Ms. GAGA!), that cute blingy thing just forgotten like history.

But, just because the trend was perfectly dead, doesn't make me forgot about my personal treasure that i'd hunt from Singapore trip couple years ago. From the hidden track, indie fashion/lifestyle pilgrimage, not-so-damn-fancy-cult-over-too-expensive area, called Haji Lane, i found my perfect wearable acrylic creature. The tiny chic store named Dulcet Fig, sell a variety black/white/silver/gold (the true saga of colour) acrylic necklaces. Talk about cute, i've different language about it. To me, a 'cute' standard consists of; pink, unicorn, rainbow, sweety face, nice attitude, tiny, petite, and so on. But the true cute in my personal bibliograph spelled, wild animals and fluffy pets, nothing more or less whatsoever. So my choice of black bear two-side acrylic necklace (glossy/doft) was really worth the trip alone. Almost wearable to all my outfit (esp. pale colour), not to cheesy (blingy!) or cartoony (Pooh, everyone?), it's a compact accessory with a chic quality approval (at least by me).

I'm so sickly in loved to made a bunch of my favorite combos. Just like the black bear, i'm really digging into Singapore youth's culture. The necklace itself was made by local kids, and the project was inspired by wild animals and luxury (gold/silver lace graphic over top acrylic pendant, SLY!). Not just fashion, and food that made Singapore really became modern art/culture destination, recently, they have seriously good taste for music too. For example, IAMDAVIDSPARKLE indie band, well, i think there's no formal indie realy 'exist' there, 'cause there's no major label...even!So basically, all artifatss, new life style in Singapore are considered indie movement, since the govt and people there just concerned about making money and living. IAMDAVIDSPARKLE CD i've got from local music store, Gramaphone located in City Hall. Their music itself was experimental sounds, band instruments, sometimes accoustic numbers. It's good by the way, for a new shot, and turns out to be relaxing for me. Accidently these made perfect monochromic combo paired with the black bear, 'cause both was bought in the different time of Singapore Trip (Necklace-2 yrs ago, CD-3 yrs ago).

PS: The little black bear is going to be trapped in warp-warpy land, GROWL!
